The term ‘superfood’ is a relatively new. The first thing we think of when we say ‘superfood’, we think of something really powerful. This is something women try to incorporate in their daily eating routines because they regard themselves as ‘superwomen’ having to tackle every day obstacles and chores. Women need to know what they import into their system through food.


A lot of women didn’t really care what they ate when they were young. As they grow up, they start facing different kind of diseases such as hormonal imbalance, weight gain, heart disease, digestive disorder and so on. The trick is to consume as much as raw organic food. They need to start taking care of their bodies at a very young age to combat all of those potential health problems. Today the market offers a large variety of so called ‘superfoods’.

Here are some of them:


Green apples:
Apples are regarded as ‘superfoods’ because they are fully packed with malic acids. In green apples, especially, there is a unique type of malic acid. Green apples are great raw organic food. That type of malic acid helps cure heart diseases. In addition, they help increase collagen counts and prevent the aging process. Berries:
Berries are considered as ‘superfoods’ because of their healing powers and are raw organic food.  All types of berries such as blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and blackberry are jammed with lots of minerals and vitamins. They are a great source of vitamin C and antioxidants. Berries eliminate toxins in your body and are great at weight loss.


Probiotics
Probiotics are live bacteria. Don’t worry, they are very beneficial bacteria. They help heal all sorts of digestive disorders. They can be found in our body and in particular supplements. They kill harmful bacteria. Probiotics are found in a large number of foods like: Kimchi, Pickle, Curd, Miso soup, Kefir, Dark chocolate, Sauerkraut and Tempeh.  Probiotics solve a lot of health problems like: Eczema, Diarrhea, IBS, Cold and cough, vaginal infections etc.


Fibers:
Fibers help treat a lot of health conditions. They are classified into two main categories: Insoluble and Soluble. Amazing sources of fibers are foods like: almond, wheat bran, broccoli, cauliflower, beans etc. Fibers are essential for treating obesity, diabetes, IBS and so on.
On the end note, ‘superfoods’ are not enough to reach your full health potential. They can work only if they are combined with exercise. Exercise + eating healthy are the perfect combination.
